Resurgent: A Wattpad Book

I understand why Roth killed Tris but I wish she didn't. So, as a fan of fan-fictions, I found solace in many fics with alternate endings or a fourth book or something along those lines.

But I wanted a personalized fourth book. Which I will write as a fanfic. The stories still belong to Veronica. It's just to get over the ending. It's a fanfic. I have no rights over the characters, just the plot.

The covers above are made by me, with hep of images from google of course. The US one I took help from other covers but I edited both of them. So anyways, I tried to make them resemble the originals as much as I could.

So I will post my version of RESURGENT here when I'm done, it might take a while 'cause I haven't started writing it yet.
Just to you know I have no idea what will happen either. I'll go with the flow and write. I just wanted to share it with you guys.

So yeah. You don't have to read it, but if you do, I might start uploading chapters from next month, or before if I can!

PS. Sorry about the covers. They the back, front and spine aren't well aligned.
PSS. That is the blurb from the back of the cover.

Hope you guys like it!

The world rebuilt itself, all because of the sacrifices of one girl, Beatrice Prior. But in saving the world, she lost her life. Tobias Eaton lost his reason to live. A single experiment done out of pure desperation, out of love can change it all. A serum that brings life to the lifeless. But at what cost?

What is the price of one's life?

But is it just Tris who comes back or are there more people lurking right around the corner. A tiny slip can end up causing a tornado. Is it really that easy to bring back a lost soul? What are the repercussions? Will Tris pay for her second chance at life, at love, at happiness?

How will she react to the world she saved? How will she fit in? Can she cope with life after being dead for over two years or will she break?

Four: A Divergent Collection

“Maybe you were cut out for Candor, Four, because you’re a terrible liar.” ~BEATRICE

It was nice to look through the eyes of Four. It was nice to see him as a younger version of him. To see his time with Marcus.

His dilemma about choosing his faction was interesting, his reason for choosing dauntless was, something!

I loved his and Shauna's friendship. And Zeke was awesome. Eric was such a.... I hated Eric!
I was so sad about Tori's brother, Amar. Amar was a good person. I hate Jeanine! She was here too! Uh. I hate it!

So, Amar names him Four! Who knew Four was such a bad fighter in the beginning, not like he didn't have skills, I meant that he was too nice. But, well, that's why we love him right? That even though he was such a strong person but he is also such a nice person.

We see him try to fit in the Dauntless society, which is cool. Then there was his interaction with the other Dauntless.
Also Evelyn! I always wanted to know how he took the fact that she was still alive!

And finally, we also got to see some Fourtis. The final book started at the visiting day, so we got to see Natalie too!

We saw him discover the Erudite's plans and him planning to save Abnegation.
My favorite was The Traitor.

I loved looking into Tobias's head and seeing the world as he did.

Allegiant

So, I have mixed feelings about the ending to this book. I had a hard time after finishing this book. I had to wait for Allegiant because I bought a box set of the first two books so I just had to order the third. And even then I couldn't wait. I got the e-book! Yeah, I know. I'm an idiot.

The ending got me!

I know why Veronica Roth did it, but it broke my heart. Really did.

"Life damages us, everyone. We can't escape the damage. But now, I'm learning this: we can be mended. We can mend each other." ~ TOBIAS

Allegiant. Oh my god. I wanted to cry at the end. I really did. But never have I ever shed a tear over a book even if it broke my heart and stomped all over it's shattered pieces.

So this book was written in both Tris and Four's point of views and we finally got some insight into his mind.

So anyways. Now that they are off to the real world, what's left of our world? We finally find out what happened to our world, how the factions were created.

We meet Tris's moms kind of ex-boyfriend, David.

At first, I kind of liked him at first. I liked how they were getting some kind of answers. What was divergent, and stuff like that.

What ticked me off was how they classed people as Genetically Damaged. Poor Tobias felt so insecure about that.

Then there was Nina! I hate her, so much!

So, David was planning on erasing everyone's memories and reinstate the faction system. That was awful!

We know that Caleb betrayed Tris and stuff and it broke my heart. I personally love reading about siblings, I mean they are meant to protect each other from the world.

Anyways, at least he was trying to make up for it.
Now. I know why Tris took his place in the chamber, I know he had no chance to survive. She did, even if it were slim.

So she did what she thought was right. She didn't want to be the reason for her last living family to die.

Poor Uriah! I hate what happened to him. He was such a great character. I loved his personality. I really wish he lived.

And finally. I wish Tobias was with her in the end.
This is the biggest spoiler in the book. Tris Dies!

That made me want to cry. But I can't!
Tris survived the stupid death serum but died when she was shot! Why oh why? I wish she at least got to see Tobias before she died, but she was dead by the time he came back. Poor Tobias.

I was horrified when I thought he was going to erase his memories of her!
Anyways. This book was amazing. I understand why Roth killed Tris but I wish she didn't. I love the series but the ending. The last few pages were so hard to turn!

Insurgent

"Deep inside me I know the answer: I am being reckless. I will probably gain nothing. I will probably die. And more disturbing still: I don't really care." ~ TRIS

I'll start this off with a warning. I might muddle up the book and movie. I haven't read it quite a while so I might mix it up.

Insurgent starts off right after divergent ends. So, basically they are on the run from Jeanine and they hide with the Amity.

Peter, a minor antagonist who I forgot to mention above,  along with Marcus, who I also forgot to mention, were with them.

So, Peter was another initiate and he was an absolute jerk. He tried to hurt Tris on multiple occasion. He is such an opportunist and I really don't like him.
And Marcus. That... that awful, awful man. What kind of a person hurts their child? What kind of person does that to their family? I hate that spiteful man.

Anyways, so they are on the run from Erudite and hide under the protection of Amity. Tris is having trouble coping with the fact she killed one of her best friends, Will, and her parents' deaths, their sacrifices to save her.

Tobias keeps trying to get her to open up but she keeps shutting him out. And then there was the whole Marcus situation. Tobias has to handle seeing the man who hurt him on a daily basis, so it must have been hard. Actually, that made me love him even more.
Caleb. How could he?

Tris was his only living family. Who would do that to their own flesh and blood? Faction before blood, my foot! I hate him for what he did. He basically gave his little sister up for torture.
And then comes in Evelyn. I get that she was hurt, that Marcus hurt her but how could she just leave her son like that? He was a kid. She left him to a fate worse than hers. She was so selfish!

So back to the story. After the Erudites go to Amity to find them, Tris, Tobias along with Caleb, who hadn't been discovered as a traitor yet, run.

Evelyn is the leader of the factionless, and she tries to get them to side with her. Tobias has every right to hate her. What mother leaves their child to be abused? I won't say I understand what she went through, maybe I'm wrong to hate her for what she did but she could've run with Four!

The scene where Tris admits to killing Will was such a hard scene for me. Poor Christina, poor Tris and poor Will.

Tris is so selfless. She gives herself up to save all those people under the control of the Erudite!
Now, that was especially hard for me to read.

The thing I hate most though is how little she regarded her own life. How she readily wanted to die, not thinking of Tobias. But in the end, she didn't, so that's alright.
So. Again I love the ending. I love how Tris and Tobias reunite after he thinks she is dead, thanks to Peter. I actually hate him a little less for that but I still hate him.

And finally when they open the box. Open the gate. God, wow! The outside world!
Oh, PS. We get rid of Jeanine.

"You die, I die too." ~ TOBIAS/FOUR

Divergent

"Becoming fearless isn't the point. That's impossible. It's learning how to control your fear, and how to be free from it, that's the point." ~ FOUR/TOBIAS

Divergent is the first dystopian novel I ever read. I picked it up after seeing the movie poster at the movies. It looked cool and I started reading it as I left for the airport. By the time I got home, I was done with Divergent and by the next night, I finished Insurgent.
PS. There will be spoilers in this post.

The world where this series takes place really intrigues me. I love Tris. She is so strong.

So basically, they are part of this world which has been divided into five factions: Abnegation, Candor, Dauntless, Amity, and Erudite. Tris belongs to Abnegation but during the test to find which faction you're best suited for and Tris finds out she's divergent, as in she doesn't belong anywhere in particular.

In that world, being Divergent is dangerous and she has to keep that hidden. She chose to be in Dauntless where she meets Four or Tobias Eaton, who appears to be Divergent.

Tobias is my favorite character in the book. He is so strong even after what he went through as a child. I personally can't even imagine that kind of a childhood. So Tobias is only two years older than Tris but he is such an accomplished individual.

I kind of like broody characters, they appear to be one thing on the outside but there is always this one person who sees through their facade and help them grow into themselves.

I love how she becomes stronger and stronger throughout the book and how she faces her fears. Also, the scenes following her experience with the fear serum are one of my favs.

I love her mother's character. I don't know why but I just do. I love Four and Tris's chemistry. They are such a great couple.

My absolute favorite scene in the book is when Tris came back from Erudite after seeing Caleb and Eric catch her and Four said she ran away because he hurt her feelings. I love the scene with Four and Tris after that.

Also, I love when four gets controlled and Tris helps him get back and fights Jeanine. I hate her. She's awful.

And the ending was perfect. I love how Tobias tells Tris he loves her.
I feel so bad for Christina. Poor Will. Also poor Tris for having to kill of her only friends. :(

All in all, this was a kick ass book, and I loved it more when I re-read it.
